List of required documents for the importation of animal carcasses and constituent parts (meat, bones, organs, hair, skin, etc.)
1. To get an import permit, all required documents must be submitted for review at least seven days before a permit will be issued.
– Original Draft R1/1 (Registration and submission via e-Movement of Department of Livestock)
– Original Power of Attorney
– Photocopies of owner and attorney’s identification
– Original Company Certificate
– A photocopy of the carcass storage facility inspection certificate (TRS. 4)
– A photocopy of the animal or carcass trading license (R.10)
2. To get an import license R7, the following documents are required on the day of animal carcass/meat arrival in Thailand.
– A photocopy of the import permit
– Original plus photocopy of the health certificate from the country or origin
– Photocopy of the airway bill
– Photocopy of the invoice
– A photocopy of the customs declaration form
Important Notes
– All documents may be submitted at the animal quarrantine station at Suvarnabhumi International Airport cargo handling area, designated by airport signage as the “free zone” in building CE1, room #1 on the first floor.
– If the owner of the animal products wishes to move the cargo out of the authority’s area of jurisdiction (Samut Prakan Province), request form R1, for interprovince transport,must be submitted to Suvarnabhumi International Airport animal quarrantine station.
