Panama
In order to export dogs/cats/ferrets to Panama, the following lists are required:
- 1. Passport of the exporter, both original and hardcopy versions.
- 2. The pets have to be at least 4 months old.
- 3. Microchip
- 4. Vaccination record/booklet with details of pets, both original and hardcopy.
- In the case of primary rabies vaccination, the pets must be vaccinated at least 30 days prior to departure.
- The pets must be continuously vaccinated and the recent one is still valid until the departure date.
- Each vaccination must include all of the following information:
(1) vaccination information: date of injection, brand, lot, and expired date
(2). veterinarians’ detail: full name, license number, and signature of a veterinarian who administered the vaccination.
| Dog vaccination against: Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Parvovirosis.
Cat vaccination against: Rabies, Feline Viral Rinotraqueitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia. Ferret vaccination against: Rabies |
- External and internal parasite protection treatments:
- The pets must be treated by a veterinarian, the certification of the veterinarian is necessary as the vaccination record details above.
- The treatments are current according to the product’s period of validity until the date of departure.
6.Import permit (contact Panama animal quarantine)
- Other documents regarding import permit. (If any)
**In case of any correction the veterinarian’s signature is required.**
Please, bring all the required documents in both hardcopy and original versions with your pets to the Animal Quarantine Station for physical examination within 1-5 business days prior to the departure date without any reservation needed. We are open Monday-Friday (except Thai public holidays) 08:30 am – 12:00 pm and 01:00 pm – 03:30 pm.
All the processes here will take about 2-3 hours; we will provide you the official health certificate and the export permit. Please prepare 250 THB/pet and 10 THB/Shipment for a fee (Cash only).
